Cal McCrystal is Physical Comedy Consultant on the Paddington movies. He consulted on the script from the earliest stages, influencing the storyline and character development. He created and choreographed the celebrated physical comedy set pieces (e.g. the bathroom, the chase, the escape) and was integral to creating the character of the bear, providing many key facial expressions for motion capture. He has just finished work on Paddington 2 in which he also has a cameo role as Sir Geoffrey.
